eBOUND Announces New Chief Executive Officer

October 3rd, 2017

TORONTO, ON — The Board of Directors of eBOUND Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Deborah Nelson as the CEO of eBOUND Canada effective November 20, 2017. Nelson replaces current CEO Krystyna Ross, who will retire in November 2017.

Nelson brings over 20 years of publishing experience to the role. Her work with Pearson Canada included selling, marketing, researching, and developing print and digital products in a wide range of markets. Lately, as principal of DKN Consulting Services, Nelson worked with a number of clients in trade and specialty publishing to help them expand their market reach. She is deeply passionate about the valuable role of technology in helping publishers ensure Canadian writers and perspectives are widely available. To immerse herself in her new role, Nelson will attend the Frankfurt Book Fair next week, which will enable her to connect with colleagues from Canada and around the world.

“We are pleased to have found such a dynamic leader to take the reins at eBOUND. Deborah is well-positioned to bring new ideas and energy to the organization,” said Leigh Nash, Chair of the Board of eBOUND Canada. “The Board acknowledges with gratitude the leadership of Krystyna Ross, who over the past five years brought eBOUND into a period of strength and stability.”
